Get ready to hear a lot less from Demi Lovato. The singer-actress announced on 20 June 2016, which is quitting social media platforms Twitter and Instagram (or “Insta,” as you call it).

“Fuck, I have quit saying s***. Good-bye Twitter” Lovato eloquently tweeted. “Insta.”

It is ironic that, although no letter of farewell, Lovato continued to shoot off a few more tweets which implied that he was leaving in part because of the harsh comments from followers. “I like Snapchat because I didn’t have to know what you are doing. Follow me if you want: theddlovato,” he wrote. “But why do people actually give a f*** what do I say?” I asked. “Like if you don’t care [sic] gtfo haha.”

The constant saturation. “Once I started my own charity to provide mental health care for people who cannot afford it and that’s what you’re all talking about,” she wrote, before adding in a tweet: “people are wondering what is wrong with the world. Pay more attention to.”

Last week, Lovato came under fire on Instagram for throwing shade at singer Mariah Carey. According to the ETincident began after Lovato commented on a meme that basically said that singer Ariana Grande is the less version of Carrie. “Maria is a legend and is very talented but always insulting people,” Lovato wrote—delete later—in the comments section of this post. “It’s bad the way she treated Jennifer [Lopez]. [Ariana Grande] didn’t do anything wrong.” According to ET Online, Lovato also referred to Carey’s “unnecessarily rude” in the Instagram comment published earlier this month.

Ah yi yi. June was a tough month for the “Skyscraper” singer. At the top of the month, Lovato and her boyfriend of six years, actorWilmer Valderrama, confirmed on Instagram that they have broken. No wonder they take a break from social media.
